Eloy Leibas currently serves as the Recruitment Manager at The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation, a philanthropy dedicated to advancing the intersection of artificial intelligence, data science, and social impact. In this role, Eloy leads talent acquisition and campus recruitment efforts, focusing on building diverse talent pipelines and fostering leadership development within the organization. With over eight years of experience in People & Culture, he has built a strong track record of creating inclusive workplace cultures and supporting organizational growth across various sectors.
Eloy is also actively involved in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Houston Chapter, where he serves on the University Liaison Committee and supports HR students at local colleges and universities. Additionally, he mentors through the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) Houston Chapter’s mentorship program.
Eloy earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Houston and an MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Houston-Downtown. He holds certifications in Strategic HR Leadership and HR Analytics from Cornell University, as well as SHRM-CP and PHR certifications.
A Founding Brother of the Gamma Alpha Chapter of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc., Eloy currently serves as the Texas Sector 1 Vice President and is an active member of the Lambda Epsilon Alumni Chapter in Houston, TX. Throughout the years, he has held several leadership roles, including Chapter President for Lambda Epsilon, where he recruited and led the induction of the largest graduate line in the fraternity’s history.
